Tesco Compare is now running Clubcard promotions on both Home and Car Insurance!

We like to keep things nice and easy - if you buy your Home Insurance through us you collect 1000 points, and if you buy Car Insurance you get 500 points.

Of course, if you buy both policies through Tesco Compare you’ll collect all 1500 Clubcard Points!

All you need to do is enter your correct Clubcard number on the Tesco Compare website along with your other details when buying insurance from the 26th June to the 23rd July 2008.

We’ve tried to answer any questions you might have about our Clubcard offers below:

• Q. Will I only collect points when buying Tesco’s Car or Home Insurance?
  A. You can collect points when buying any insurance policy through Tesco Compare for any of the providers we search, not just Tesco branded products.
• Q. I bought my insurance outside of the promotion dates - can I still collect my Clubcard Points?
  A. Unfortunately we can only offer points to customers buying insurance through Tesco Compare from the 26th June to the 23rd July 2008.
• Q. I bought my insurance over the phone after getting the quote on Tesco Compare; can I still collect my Clubcard Points?
  A. Yes, but please make sure you supply your Tesco Compare quote reference number to the insurer when buying over the phone.
• Q. How long will I have to wait to have my points awarded?
  A. The points you will collect when buying through Tesco Compare will appear on your November 2008 Clubcard Statement if not earlier.
• Q. How do I add my Clubcard number if I have already searched for quotes?
  A. If you have already searched for quotes and wish to go back and enter your Clubcard number before buying, simply enter your registration details and select the ‘amend’ option. You can then enter your Clubcard details in the field provided. Please remember to add your Clubcard number before buying, or we won't be able to award your points.
• Q. How do I find out more about Clubcard membership and Points?
  A. If you would like to see further information about Clubcard Points and how to register as a member please visit Tesco.com and enter the Clubcard section, or call the Clubcard Helpline on 0800 59 16 88.

The promotional offer is valid from 26th June 2008 to 23rd July 2008. The policy must be purchased through the Tesco Compare website by clicking on the ‘Buy Now’ button. The name entered on the Tesco Compare website as the policy holder must match the name on the Tesco Clubcard for the Clubcard Number that you are submitting and must be entered on the Tesco Compare website when obtaining a quote. Failure to do so will mean the points will not be allocated to the Clubcard holder's statement. Clubcard Points will appear in the next available Clubcard statement. If the policy is cancelled within two weeks of purchase then no Clubcard Points will be awarded.
