US burglars seen via island webcam

A woman in the Philippines may have saved her husband money on his home insurance by notifying police of an attempted burglary at his apartment in the US.
Maribel Chouinard saw three men break into her husband Jim’s Oaklahoma home on the webcam the couple use to keep in touch.
She quickly notified the air base where he works and passed the information on to police, who later arrested three people in connection with the incident.
Mrs Chouinard’s role was not limited to alerting the authorities to the crime. She also assisted in identifying them after a photo line-up was emailed to her in south east Asia.
She is currently in the Philippines awaiting a visa to be processed to enable her to join her husband, a master sergeant at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City.
